West Star Aviation announces Klose as director of engine program development

West Star Aviation has announced Sharon Klose has joined its team as director of engine programs.

weststaraviationlogoWest Star’s operations include a substantial aviation repair business at St. Louis Regional Airport in Bethalto.

She has more than 30 years of experience in aviation and most recently, she held the role of senior sales/service engine manager at Duncan Aviation for the past 10 years. Previously, she held similar roles at KC Aviation, and Honeywell.

She will be focusing on expanding West Star’s engine capabilities and developing new programs by partnering with engine OEMs, MROs, aircraft program managers, and will provide assistance and guidance to West Star’s regional and technical sales teams.

“Sharon’s wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience with engine MRO programs will make her a valuable asset to the West Star engine team,” said Rodger Renaud, president and COO of West Star Aviation. “We welcome Sharon and look forward to seeing her grow our engine program for current and future West Star customers.”

In addition to its facilities in Bethalto (East Alton); Grand Junction, Colo.; and Chattanooga, Tenn., West Star Aviation runs maintenance operations at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport in Aspen, Colo.; Chicago Executive Airport in Chicago; Centennial Airport in Denver, and Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport in Houston.
