FirstService Residential adds Brea as president of North Region

FirstService Residential has named John Brea as president of the property management company’s North Region.

Based out of Toronto, Canada, Brea will oversee operations and spearhead strategic growth opportunities across Illinois, Minnesota and Missouri, and Canadian provinces of Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta.

Brea’s experience and depth of knowledge in operations, customer service, process improvement, talent development, employee engagement, risk management, supply chain, strategy and sales come from spending nearly 15 years in the retail sector. He has managed revenues of $2 billion and a $500 million operating budget in leadership roles with Walmart in Canada and Puerto Rico, and most recently as Head of Operations at Kent Building Supplies, Atlantic Canada’s largest big box home improvement retailer.
