MASCOUTAH — Allegiant today launched a new nonstop route from MidAmerica St. Louis Airport and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
To celebrate, the company is offering one-way fares on the new route for as low as $53.
“We are thrilled to launch this new route from St. Louis today,” said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial. “We know St. Louis-area travelers will enjoy having a friendly, low-cost, convenient option for travel to some of the best golf, spas and scenery in sunny Phoenix.”
The new nonstop route will operate twice weekly. Flight days, times and fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
“We’re excited to see Allegiant continue to grow here at MidAmerica Airport with the addition of Phoenix/Mesa, our first destination in the southwest United States,” said St. Clair County Board Chairman Mark Kern. “It’s a terrific complement to the existing low-cost flights to six amazing Florida hotspots, Las Vegas and Myrtle Beach, and we’re confident passengers will appreciate the added choice as much as they appreciate the hassle-free experience of flying from MidAmerica.”
“Phoenix / Mesa is a great addition to the travel menu at MidAmerica,” says Tim Cantwell, director of MidAmerica St. Louis Airport. “Allegiant continues to seek out great destination choices our region desires and serve them from MidAmerica. Their nonstop service, coupled with the airport’s convenience, starts anyone’s vacation with a smile.”
Allegiant offers a unique option to St. Louis-area travelers with low base fares and savings on rental cars and hotels. Travelers can book their entire vacation with Allegiant for less.
