Second veterinarian added to practice

    Metro-East Home Vet Care, a house call-exclusive companion animal practice in Southwestern Illinois, has added a second veterinarian.
    Dr. Laura Boeren is now accepting new patients, both canine and feline. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, with honors, in 2001. Her particular interest lies with anxious animals, and she enjoys making health care more accessible to those pets who may be too frightened for an exam in a traditional clinic.
