Job fair planned at N.O. Nelson Campus in Edwardsville

A free job fair will be held at Lewis and Clark Community College’s N.O. Nelson campus at 600 Troy Road in Edwardsville on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The event is being held in partnership with state Rep. Katie Stuart, D-Edwardsville, and the Illinois Department of Employment Security.

“Looking for a job online and in the newspaper is always a tough and tedious thing to do, so I wanted to give people an opportunity to see all of the potential employers face-to-face in one place at the same time,” Stuart said.

Stuart’s free job fair will feature local employers from the Greater St. Louis area. Job seekers will learn more about the application process for available positions and have an opportunity to speak one-on-one with local hiring officers. Attendees can bring copies of their resumes and advance registration to attend the fair is not required.
