Haas named membership director of Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce

Katie Haas has joined the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce as membership director.

Previously, she served as assistant director for Lewis and Clark Community College’s Corporate & Community Learning Department.

“I look forward to meeting the chamber’s members at upcoming events and building strong relationships with our community’s business leaders,” she said.

One of her first major projects is coordination of this year’s SAVOR 2017, the chamber’s nationally recognized restaurant week.

The inaugural 2016 initiative was honored with an Award of Excellence by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives at the association’s annual conference in Nashville, Tenn., last month.

SAVOR is a salute to community’s restaurateurs, cuisine and diners. The week, running from Sept. 22-30, features a special opportunity for diners to visit old favorites and also try the many new restaurants in the market. Specially priced lunch and dinner menus are offered for fixed prices.
