Ducks Unlimited groups planning annual banquets

Two local chapters of Ducks Unlimited are planning their annual banquets this month to help raise funds for the organization’s wetlands and waterfowl conservation mission.

ducksunlimitedlogoThe Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Ducks Unlimited chapter will host its annual banquet, Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Edwardsville Moose Lodge in Edwardsville.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m., and activities will include a live and silent auction, raffles, games and more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind DU merchandise and interact with other outdoor enthusiasts.

Ticket prices include a one-year DU membership. The committee recommends purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee participation.

• Single: $50
• Couple: $70
• Sponsor Couple: $325
• Youth: $20
