EAST ALTON — West Star Aviation has named Bob O’Leary business development manager for the Embraer line of aircraft.
He will be based at the West Star facilities at St. Louis Regional Airport and will focus on all Embraer models including Phenom 100/300, Legacy 450, 500, 600/650 and Lineage aircraft.
O’Leary comes to West Star Aviation with 27 years of experience working within aviation. In 1990 he started out at PHI Inc. before moving to Garrett Aviation working at Scott Air Force Base on Hawker 800 aircraft. He transitioned into a position at Midcoast Aviation, now Jet Aviation, and worked a variety of roles from crew chief, maintenance supervisor, business operations manager for Falcon/Challenger and Embraer to most recently, program manager.

West Star Aviation specializes in the repair and maintenance of airframes, windows, and engines, as well as major modifications, avionics installation and repair, interior refurbishment, surplus avionics sales, accessory services, paint and parts.
