Update on local river projects planned by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

EAST ALTON – Information on Mississippi River pool management and local projects will be presented at two locations on Sept. 9 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The Corps’ Rivers Project Office, part of the St. Louis District Water Control Office, will make the presentation:

– From 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the National Great Rivers Museum, 2 Lock and Dam Way, East Alton.

– From 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Cabela’s, 5555 Mill Creek Drive, No. 167, Hazelwood, Mo.

Corps staff will be available to answer any questions. There is no charge to attend and no reservations are required.
