Now more than 3,500 members, the YPN program provides young professionals with unique opportunities for business, social networking, professional development and community involvement. Launched in 2008, the RBC’s goal is to attract and retain ethnically diverse professionals in the St. Louis business community.
This stellar cohort of 20 inductees joins the membership of the RBC YPN Leadership 100. Representing 19 distinct companies in the St. Louis region, they work in fields such as media, farming and agriculture, defense, law, finance, entrepreneurship, food/beverage, health care, manufacturing, architecture, accounting and technology.
“These young professionals are already actively involved in our community and represent the top upcoming business talent in the region,” said Kathy Osborn, president and chief executive officer of the St. Louis RBC. “The YPN has a number of exciting community engagement projects for which we are eager to engage our new inductees.”
This year’s new Leadership Cohort identifies as 40 percent female and 60 percent male; 70 percent African American, 10 percent Asian, and 20 percent Caucasian.
