Change of command for 375th Air Mobility Wing

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE – Col. John O. Howard will assume command of the 375th Air Mobility Wing from Col. Laura L. Lenderman during a change of command ceremony at 9 a.m., Monday, July 24, at the parade field.

Howard, who previously served as the 100th Air Refueling Wing vice commander at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, takes command from Lenderman, who has held the position for the last two years. Lenderman will be transitioning to her new role within U.S. Transportation Command, also located at Scott AFB.

Howard who is graduate of Tufts University and has served in a variety of Joint, deployed, Pentagon, and operational flying positions, will be joined at Scott by his wife, Dana, and son, Kevin.
