Green Tree Inn again wins TripAdvisor excellence award

greentreeinnGary and Connie Davis, owners and operators of Green Tree Inn of Elsah have been awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award for the fourth consecutive year.

The couple purchased Green Tree Inn in June 2012 and received the first Certificate of Excellence Award in 2014.

Founded in 2010, the Certificate of Excellence honors hospitality businesses that deliver consistently great service. This designation is given to establishments worldwide that have consistently achieved great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.

Certificate of Excellence recipients are judged on review ratings, overall rating and quantity and recency of reviews. To qualify for a hospitality business must: maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five; have a minimum number of reviews; and have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

“We are so happy that our guests have taken time to do such positive reviews about their stay at Green Tree Inn,” Connie Davis said. “Gary and I love visiting with our guests and helping them take a break from life while enjoying our quaint historic village. An added bonus is I love to cook and see guests enjoy homemade afternoon snacks and a full home-cooked breakfast each morning.”
