BELLEVILLE — Memorial Foundation’s Inaugural Golf Tournament raised more than $65,000 to purchase neonatal ventilators for Memorial’s tiniest patients.
A single neonatal ventilator costs $50,000 and is used to help create an ideal environment for newborns to relax, sleep and grow while minimizing as many risks as possible to their physical and mental development.
“Thank you to all of our sponsors and participants for making our first tournament a huge success,” said Anne Thomure, Memorial Foundation’s executive director. “It was wonderful to see so much support from the community and area businesses.”
