Allegiant launches new routes to Fort Lauderdale and Myrtle Beach from MidAmerica Airport
MASCOUTAH — Allegiant this week launches service to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Myrtle Beach, S.C., from MidAmerica St. Louis Airport.
The company is offering one-way fares on the new route for as low as $46.
With the addition of these two routes, Allegiant now flies to eight destinations from the Metro East airport. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
“The addition of these destinations is great for our region,” said St. Clair County Board Chairman Mark Kern. “Allegiant’s great service coupled with MidAmerica’s low cost and easy passenger experience put the joy back into flying.”
“MidAmerica now hosts the most Allegiant destinations of any Illinois airport,” said Tim Cantwell, MidAmerica Airport director. “Passengers ask me all of the time: Can you get us more Allegiant destinations?”
Allegiant offers a unique option to St. Louis-area travelers with low base fares and savings on rental cars, hotels and activity and attraction tickets. Travelers can book their entire vacation with Allegiant for less.
