“HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital is committed to bringing advanced technology to our community to provide the best care for our patients. We started many new programs this year, such as 3D mammography and the MAKO Robot for knee and hip replacements, as well as the addition of the HSHS Rescue Flight helicopter. HSHS Rescue Flight cuts patient transfer times by 11 minutes in critical situations, while new technologies allow for better detection, less pain, and faster recovery for patients.
“St. Joseph’s Hospital was named a Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals (CAH) in the country out of 1,332 CAHs in the United States. We were also awarded the Guardian of Excellence Award® by Press Ganey, which recognizes top-performing health care organizations that have consistently achieved the 95th percentile or above of performance in Clinical Quality. And our commitment to patient safety and quality was recognized with a Quality Excellence Achievement Award from the Illinois Health and Hospital Association.
“St. Joseph’s Hospital is committed to the care of our community and keeping our patients close to home.”
