SBDC to hold business starter workshop at SWIC in Belleville
BELLEVILLE – The Illinois Metro East Small Business Development Center at SIUE, in partnership with The Greater Belleville Chamber and Southwestern Illinois College, will present on May 2 a learning opportunity for budding entrepreneurs and future business owners.
The session will take place from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the SWIC Belleville Campus, 2500 Carlyle Ave. in rooms 2311/2313 of the Liberal Arts Complex.
“Starting a Business in Illinois” will instruct attendees on how to
• develop a viable business plan;
• properly register business with state and/or local agencies; and
• explore business financing options.
In addition, attendees will get the opportunity to ask questions about a specific business idea and any next steps in their startup process. This course is highly recommended for anyone developing a new for-profit business concept.
