Associated Bank welcomes two residential loan officers

EAST ST. LOUIS – Associated Bank recently added two residential loan officers, Kelly Acosta and Richard Coolbaugh.

acosta kellyAcosta joined Associated Bank as assistant vice president, residential loan officer, Consumer and Business Banking. She is responsible for residential mortgage lending at the Belleville locations.

Acosta (left) brings more than 25 years of banking experience to Associated Bank. Previously, she held the position of branch manager at First Bank, where she was responsible for sales, operations and business development. Before that, she served as mortgage loan officer at Scott Credit Union.

In the community, she works with various church ministries, specifically those with a focus on children and the Hispanic community. She also volunteers for Realtor Association of Southwestern Illinois and the Homebuilder Association of Greater Southwest Illinois. Her office is located at 6902 W. Main St.

Coolbaugh brings more than 22 years of banking experience to Associated Bank. Previously, he held the position of loan officer at FCB, where he was responsible for loan production. Before that, he served as senior vice president, chief operations officer at First Illinois Bank.

Coolbaugh holds a BSAP in professional accounting from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is a graduate of the Community Bankers School at Wesleyan University. In the community, he volunteers with the St. Clair County West Rotary Club, Paul Harris Society, Metro East Lenders Group, Knights of Columbus, Boy Scouts of America, Home Builder Association of Greater Southwest Illinois and Mid-American Medical District Commission. His office is located at 326 Missouri Ave.
