CASEYVILLE – Members of the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce, the mayor of Caseyville, Len Black, The National Bank at Edwardsville and members of Collinsville Unit 10 School District were on hand this month to welcome Tanglewood Subdivision to the community.
The ribbon cutting was held at the subdivision entrance at 159 followed by a tour of the model home at 7991 Sonora Ridge, Caseyville.
The grand opening celebration will be on Saturday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Events include a chili cookoff in which area businesses can show off their chili recipes to incoming residents and guests as well as win prizes. All proceeds will be donated to the Collinsville School District.
The day will feature free bounce houses, a slide for children, face painting, a car and truck show, hot dogs, popcorn and more.
