O’FALLON, Ill. – The City of O’Fallon is now using the board management technology “BoardDocs” to manage all city board meeting agenda and minutes in order to improve the governance process, and increase productivity and transparency.
The new board management features can be accessed via the city’s website or at https://www.boarddocs.com/il/ofallon/Board.nsf.
BoardDocs is a paperless agenda designed to meet the legal requirements of municipal governments, public school boards, and a wide variety of other types of governing bodies.
Meeting agenda distribution through BoardDocs is intended to not only save time and resources but also provide unprecedented public access via the city website to agenda items and other board-related information, city officials said. The process will allow interested parties to review information prior to meetings. All documents associated with the meetings are automatically archived and can be accessed by date or by using the system’s comprehensive search feature.
Anyone who is interested in receiving email notices when new meeting agendas are posted can sign up at https://goo.gl/Rj9J2l. If you already receive these notices, there is no need to sign up again.
Agenda and minutes for meetings prior to Feb. 7, 2017, will continue to be archived on the city’s website at http://www.ofallon.org/minutes-and-agendas.
BoardDocs serves more than 2,000 organizations.
