Hager Companies fills key leadership roles


ST. LOUIS – Hager Companies, a U.S. manufacturer of commercial and residential door hardware products, has announced the promotion of Joshua D. Hager to the position of president and chief operating officer effective immediately.

Rusty Hager also retains his position as chairman of the board of directors of the Hager Companies. Coinciding with this announcement, Ralph J. (Johnston) Hager was promoted to vice president, residential sales and national accounts.

hager joshJosh Hager (left) served as chief operating officer of the company for more than four years, and was cited for  the job he did of guiding the sales, marketing and operations functions of the business through a challenging period. His leadership was key to growth and profitability, the company said.

Johnston has led the residential sales team in expanding the company’s market share and profitability in this key segment of the business. His leadership was said to be instrumental in driving profit enhancements and Hager Companies said it looks forward to his continued focus in expanding the company’s market share in residential and national accounts sales and profitability.
