BELLEVILLE — Mark J. Turner, Memorial Regional Health Services president, has been re-elected to a three-year term on the Illinois Health and Hospital Association’s 2017 Board of Trustees.
The board is the policymaking body for the association, which represents more than 200 hospitals and nearly 50 health systems across Illinois.
“It is an honor for me to serve on this board,” said Turner. “I look forward to continued collaboration with other healthcare professionals throughout the state to help guide our industry through the next several years.”
As MRHS president, he also serves as the president of 216-bed Memorial Hospital Belleville, president of 94-bed Memorial Hospital East, as well as president of Memorial Medical Group, Memorial Foundation and the Memorial Captive Insurance Co. Turner served as president and CEO of Memorial Group from 2006 through 2015. He joined Memorial in 2004 as the chief operating officer of Memorial Hospital.
