HIGHLAND – HSHS St. Joseph’s Auxiliary has made a $25,000 donation to HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital – Highland that will be used to purchase equipment for services in the Wound Care Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

“The work our Auxiliary does to raise money for the hospital is amazing,” said Amy Liefer, foundation director at St. Joseph’s Hospital. “In addition to all of the great volunteer work they do at the hospital, they also work year round to raise funds, which then support our programs and services.”

The HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary was organized to promote and advance the welfare of the hospital through financial support, public relations, and volunteer services. The Auxiliary offers volunteers the opportunity to provide special services for patients and visitors of St. Joseph’s Hospital. In addition to volunteer duties, Auxiliary members plan and implement fundraising events throughout the year. Those events include new and used book sales, the annual garage sale, bake sales, raffles, Superhero Fun Run, and trivia night.

Volunteers are needed throughout the year. More information can be found at www.stjosephshighland.org.
