Psychological Associates expands organizational consulting team
ST. LOUIS — Psychological Associates, a consulting company that helps companies manage the life cycle of leadership, recently expanded its organizational consulting team with the addition of David Rowan, Ph.D. as vice president and Emily Ingalls, Ph.D. as a director:
Rowan (left) is a business consulting professional. Rowan’s emphasis is on training professionals to improve communication skills and intervention outcomes. He holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from Grinnell College, and a graduate degree and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. David trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing; and he became a trainer, consultant and trainer-of-trainers for Motivational Interviewing. He has led workshops and training seminars at the national, regional, and local levels.
Rowan is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers. He volunteers for Meacham Park Neighborhood Improvement Association, Operation Food Search, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
Ingalls’ (right) background is in industrial-organizational psychology. In her role at Nestlé, she had an emphasis on analytics and issues facing employers during selection and development processes. Dr. Ingalls has experience working in large corporate, university, and non-profit settings, including as an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri – St. Louis and Maryville University.
She has a Master of Arts and will receive her Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology in December 2016, both from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She serves on the board of Emmaus Homes in St. Louis.
