Tri-Cities Area Division of United Way plans campaign kickoff breakfast

GRANITE CITY — The Tri-Cities Area Division of United Way of Greater St. Louis will kick off its 2016 fund-raising campaign with a breakfast event on Friday, Sept. 9. United Way board members and other local business leaders will serve as celebrity waiters for the event.

The event will be held at Southwestern Illinois College – Sam Wolf Granite City Campus, 4950 Maryville Road, Granite City.

The Tri-Cities Area Division of United Way of Greater St. Louis serves the cities of Granite City, Madison, Mitchell, Pontoon Beach and Venice, helping one in three people throughout the community. Twenty local health and human service organizations are supported by the Tri-Cities Area Division’s annual fund-raising campaign. Nancy LeVault, campus executive director of the Sam Wolf Granite City Campus, serves as the chair of the Tri-Cities Area Division’s 2016 campaign.

Registration for the event is available online at helpingpeople.org/TCAD2016 and must be made by Sept. 1. The cost for the breakfast is $10 per person or $250 for a table of eight sponsorship. For more information, contact United Way at (618) 877-6780.
