O’FALLON, Ill. – Show Me Hospitality, LLC, area developer for Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop in the greater St. Louis area, has opened its first Illinois location and is promising more to come.

The restaurant opened Friday at 450 Regency Park Drive, just off Interstate 64 and north Green Mount Road. A first-of-its kind Reliance Bank location also opened alongside.

Tim Hortons leadership announced the restaurant’s next locations in the greater St. Louis area: Lafayette Square in St. Louis City (1300 Lafayette Ave., at the corner of Lafayette and 14th Street, in front of Fields Foods), and Bridgeton, Mo. (12650 St. Charles Rock Road, at I-270 and I-70). Both are scheduled to open later this year.

The ribbon cutting included remarks by O’Fallon Mayor Gary Graham, O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce leadership and city officials. Winners of a social media contest had their chance in a “money machine,” for the opportunity to win cash, Tim Hortons gift cards and much more. Panther blue-and-gold donuts have been specially designed to commemorate the new restaurant, and students and faculty with a current school ID will receive a free treat through August 19.

In honor of nearby Scott Air Force Base, custom Tim Hortons coffee mugs sporting a camouflage pattern will be given to the first 250 people with base identification who visit the store. Those mugs will be refilled for free with any purchase through August 2017.

“Opening Illinois’ first Tim Hortons in a city with so much community spirit is a real treat for us,” said Eric Sigurdson, president of Show Me Hospitality, LLC. “O’Fallon is a robust city, full of business people, military families and Panther pride. This is a great location for our 24-hour offerings of fresh coffee and meals throughout the day.”

The O’Fallon restaurant is the brand’s fifth location in greater St. Louis, featuring Tim Hortons’ signature always-fresh coffee and baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and a variety of hand-crafted afternoon sandwich options. For larger occasions, the restaurant also offers catering service with delivery.
