Tim Hortons to open with donuts, fanfare in O’Fallon

O’FALLON, Ill. — Show Me Hospitality, LLC, area developer for Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop in the greater St. Louis area, will open its first Illinois location with a series of gala events Wednesday morning, Aug. 10.

The grand opening event will include many aspects of a traditional high school pep rally, complete with the O’Fallon Township High School marching band, cheer squad, and the football team assisting with the ribbon cutting.

Panther blue-and-gold donuts have been specially designed to commemorate the new restaurant, and custom camo-themed coffee mugs will honor nearby Scott Air Force Base military personnel and families. Winners of a social media contest will have their chance in a “dough machine,” where they can win cash prizes, Tim Hortons gift cards and much more.

The store will open at 6 a.m. Opening festivities will take place from 9 to 11 a.m., with a 10 a.m. ribbon cutting with elected officials, chamber members and Tim Hortons executives.

The store is located at 450 Regency Park Drive, just off Interstate 64 and north Green Mount Road in O’Fallon, Ill.
