Crushed Red planning fall opening in Edwardsville

Hilliker Corp., a St. Louis-owned and managed commercial real estate company, is helping a St. Louis restaurant expand into Illinois.

Crushed Red Urban Bake & Chop shop will open its newest location at 222 Park St. in Edwardsville. The 3,000-square-foot property will be located at a new office and retail development in the heart of downtown Edwardsville. The restaurant is scheduled to open for business by early fall of 2016.

The Crushed Red concept focuses on soups, single-serving pizzas, and salads. Crushed Red has locations at 8007 Maryland Ave. in Clayton, 140 South Kirkwood Road in Kirkwood, and 11635 Olive Blvd. in Creve Coeur.

Hilliker Corp. broker Powell Kalish represented the tenant, Crushed Red, with the lease. Aras, LLC agent Sara Hentz represented the landlord, Dark Street Plaza, LLC.

Hilliker Corp., which targets regional and national entrepreneurs, is St. Louis’ largest locally owned independent commercial real estate company.
