Holiday Inn Express touts efficient stays as it opens in Troy, Ill.

 

TROY – InterContinental Hotels Group will open a new-build 75-room Holiday Inn Express hotel in Troy on Thursday, and the public is invited for a peek.

A private ribbon-cutting ceremony with Illinois state Rep. Charlie Meier and Mayor Allen Adomite will be followed by a hotel open house for the business community from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

The Holiday Inn Express Troy hotel features the brand’s newest design, features of which include:

• An open, pod-style front desk area that delivers a familiar and expedited check in and out experience;
• Flexible seating in the Great Room, including community tables with built-in wired and wireless charging where guests can collaborate with colleagues or relax with friends and family;
• Guestrooms comforts and features that allow guests to be productive, including noise-reducing headboard and television tower, multiple points of power located throughout the room and functional storage allowing guests to live out of their suitcase or unpack into a variety of storage options.

In addition, the hotel features an indoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center and a 24-hour business center. There is 900 square feet of meeting space that can comfortably accommodate up to 60 people.

The complimentary Express Start breakfast bar offers a range of breakfast items.

The hotel, located at 2011 Formosa Road, is owned by R.L.P. Development Company, Inc. and managed by General Hotels Corp.
