“When university president Dr. James Dennis invited me to join the board, I was excited by the opportunity to give back to the school that has done so much for me,” said Wohltman. “McKendree has given me opportunities to learn, travel, and even helped me make professional contacts that led to my position at MM&R.”

“This appointment underscores the importance that Mathis, Marifian and Richter, Ltd. places on community involvement,” said Patrick B. Mathis, one of the firm’s founding shareholders. “We’re proud of Becky’s commitment to McKendree University as well as her other leadership roles in the community.”

In addition to her role at McKendree, Wohltman is a member of the Zion Lutheran School – Belleville school board, and also serves on the public relations and marathon planning committees for the Belleville Running Club.

Prior to studying law, Wohltman attended McKendree University where she received a B.B.A. in Accounting and a B.A. in Political Science, graduating summa cum laude in 2009. She graduated summa cum laude from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2012 in the top 15 percent of her class, where she received academic awards for highest grades in criminal law and banking regulation.

Wohltman focuses her practice at MM&R in transactional work.
