Southern Illinois insurance agency joins regional alliance

Larry Goss Insurance recently joined Valley Insurance Agency Alliance, a group of nearly 100 independent insurance agencies in Missouri and Southern Illinois.

Larry Goss Insurance is a full-service insurance agency that specializes in home, business, auto, life and commercial insurance. The company, which is owned by husband and wife Larry and Hedy Goss, is located at 2025 Broadway St. in Mount Vernon. Daughter Mindy Goss also works for the agency.

“The insurance agency has been in my family for over 50 years,” said Larry Goss. “I am confident the agency will continue to be successful with the help of my daughter and VIAA. I’m excited to have partnered with an alliance that shares our same values.”

Founded in 2006, Valley Insurance Agency Alliance is located at 7745 Carondelet Ave. in Clayton, Mo. The alliance generates more than $125 million in written premium and is the regional founding member in Missouri and Southern Illinois for the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance, a $6 billion national insurance coalition. The alliance is the nation’s largest partnership of independent insurance agencies.
