EDWARDSVILLE – Visionary Wealth Advisors has added John Fischer, CFA, CFP, as the firm’s chief investment officer. Fischer now handles investment research and the due diligence in managing Visionary’s client portfolios.
Prior to Visionary, Fischer (left) was an international fixed-income trader and government bond trader at Edward Jones for six years. He moved on to Stifel Nicolaus, where he was a trader, for another six years.
“We are excited to have John join the firm,” said Brett Gilliland, founder. “He brings passion and energy to serving clients, and has an extremely strong work ethic.”
Fischer joined the firm on April 15, and has an office at the firm’s St. Louis location, and travels to the home office, or wherever he needs to meet with clients or Visionary advisors.
Visionary Wealth Advisors currently has offices in Edwardsville, St. Louis and Miami, with a new office under construction in O’Fallon, Ill. Plans are in the works to open additional offices throughout the U.S.
