New Athens woman joins staff of ElmTree Funds

ST. LOUIS — ElmTree Funds, a St. Louis-based private equity real estate investment firm, has hired Kerry Gawrych, of Sunset Hills, Mo., as controller and Hope Weber, of New Athens, Ill., as staff accountant.

Gawrych is responsible for all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, analysis and administration. She brings almost 20 years of progressive accounting experience in the commercial real estate industry to ElmTree. Her background includes serving as controller/director of accounting for Koch Development Co., Inc., as well as in various accounting positions with other leading real estate weber hopedevelopment firms. Gawrych holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in international business from the University of Dayton.

In her new position as staff accountant, Weber (left) is responsible for the daily operations of general accounting and financial reporting. She brings more than 20 years of accounting experience in both the private and public sectors to ElmTree, including serving 10 years with a local real estate management company. Weber holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
