More lane work anticipated on Martin Luther King bridge

EAST ST. LOUIS – The Illinois Department of Transportation says the right lane of the two eastbound lanes of the Martin Luther King Bridge over the Mississippi River in East St Louis will be closed to traffic between the hours of 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily from Monday, April 4, through Friday, April 8, weather permitting.

The closures are necessary to make repairs that were planned as part of the ongoing bridge rehabilitation project.
The contractor on this project is Keeley and Sons of East St Louis. Additional information is available at http://stl-traffic.org.
