Dodge report shows construction boomed in metropolitan area in past year

A report released today by Dodge Data & Analytics shows construction values skyrocketing during the past year in the metropolitan area around St. Louis.

The report, which has both December and 2014/2015 year-end numbers, covers construction starts in the statistical counties of Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Crawford, Franklin, Jefferson, Jersey, Lincoln, Macoupin, Madison, Monroe, St Charles, St Clair, St Louis, Warren and Washington in Illinois and Missouri.

Following is the report. Nonresidential buildings include office, retail, hotels, warehouses, manufacturing, educational, healthcare, religious, government, recreational, and other buildings.

Residential buildings include single family and multifamily housing.

The first list of numbers is December; second is the year in total.
