HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital honors 20 RN residents at transition ceremony

BELLEVILLE – HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital recently held the 20th RN Residency Transition Ceremony and reception for 20 registered nurses who completed St. Elizabeth’s Versant RN Residency Program. “Everything about this residency program supports our mission,” shared Shelley Harris, interim chief executive officer at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. We are very proud of all that our RN residents have accomplished during the program, and the best is yet to come.” The Versant RN Residency is a comprehensive, evidence-based onboarding of new graduate nurses that helps them gain experience. Since July 2006, more than 250 have transitioned from the program.
