FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS — A $3.5 million expansion of Christ United Methodist Church began in mid-October and should be wrapped up next July.
The general contractor IMPACT Strategies is building a 16,000-square-foot, two-story addition that will be used for classroom and worship/assembly areas. The addition is being built above a one-story wing that IMPACT Strategies built in 2009. The scope of work includes laying concrete foundations, structural steel framework, masonry veneer and Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS exterior), single ply roofing, aluminum entrances and windows, interior drywall and paint, and carpet and ceramic tiling.
The church is located at 339 Frank Scott Parkway East.
Kouba + Knoop Associates of St. Louis is the project architect.
