Challenge Unlimited adds to business development department

ALTON — Christine Lay has joined Challenge Unlimited, Inc. as its  sales account representative in the business development department.

Challenge is a non-profit organization in Alton dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to live, work and participate in the community.

Lay lives in Edwardsville with her family and has several years of experience in sales in a variety of industries including packaging supplies, office equipment, real estate and insurance.

Her primary role at Challenge will be to secure secondary contract packaging opportunities for a new business managed by Challenge Unlimited named Advanced Outsource Solutions, Inc.. AOS provides contract packaging and fulfillment services as part of an overall approach to managing customer merchandizing supply chain challenges utilizing a robust Warehouse Management System. AOS is also a non-profit whose mission is to provide job opportunities to people with barriers to employment.

Lay’s goal is to help bring in several contracts over the next few years to boost the number of employees at AOS to over 200 individuals.
