Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation names director of finance

SAUGET – Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation has announced the promotion of Leslie O’Connor to director of finance. O’Connor will direct the day-to-day operations of the finance department as well as manage the development of the annual budget, oversee financial reporting, and cultivate banking relationships.
O’Connor, a Certified Public Accountant, joined SIHF in 2014 as the organization’s controller, a position in which she strengthened accounting processes to increase efficiencies across 29 health centers in Southern Illinois. A graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a bachelor of science in accounting, O’Connor possesses more than 25 years of experience in accounting, including 19 years in the health care and pharmaceutical field.
