OSHA construction safety course being offered in area

An OSHA Construction Safety & Health Training Course (29CFR 1926) will be held Nov. 12, 13, 19 and 20.

The full, four-day course is being offered daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at American Allied Safety Council, 100 Lanter Court, Collinsville.

The lead instructor is Rick Reams, of TekSolv.

The course fee is $600 per individual. The fee includes all instructions, handout materials, continental breakfast and lunch. Break refreshments will be available all day as well. Students will receive a certificate of completion from the safety council as well as an OSHA-issued completion card. Each participant is required to attend all four-days of class to qualify for the completion certificate issued by AASC and the OSHA certification card.

Class size is limited to 40 students. To register:

– Existing AASC users: Go to the American Allied Safety Council website at www.teksolv.com. Under the AASC tab follow the normal registration process.

– New AASC customers: Call Tamara Walker, American Allied Safety Council at (618) 344-1591.

All registrations will be treated as a firm commitment, but substitutions can be made at any time. Cancellations must be received no later than four days prior to the start of class.
