Plocher Construction, Altitude Trampoline Park, Glen Carbon

    Construction began in mid-September on a new 27,000-square-foot, one-story recreational indoor trampoline facility in Glen Carbon.
    The new development is located east of Illinois 157 at the corner of Fountains Drive and Illinois Route 157. The facility will feature a rock wall, basketball zone, a private party room and more. Completion is slated for early spring 2016.
    With a projected cost of approximately $3.2 million, Sunset Plaza Development Group, LLC has brought in Plocher Construction as the general contractor on the project. Plocher is applying a design/build approach that will incorporate insulated tilt-up concrete wall panels and structural steel components into the project’s overall design.
    The interior finishes will include an open concept throughout with an exposed structure and vibrantly painted gypsum board walls.
    Jenna Kampwerth, Plocher’s project manager, pointed out some benefits that the project will bring to the community.
    “The Altitude Trampoline Park will offer an atmosphere where adults, children and families can have fun together and create special memories. It will also be a great place for low-impact exercise,” she said.
