GLEN CARBON — The Bob Emig Foundation is partnering with Father McGivney Catholic High School to host its sixth annual Halloween 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 8 a.m. to benefit the athletics program at Father McGivney.

The family event will be held on Father McGivney’s new campus in Glen Carbon at 7190 Bouse Road.

The 5K run/walk will have awards for the top three male and female runners and the top three places in seven age categories. There will also be a pumpkin painting activity, trick-or-treating, and a short fun-run for all kids in attendance. Performance T-shirts are included in the registration fee. Food, drinks, music, and a raffle will follow the fun-run. The deadline for early registration is Oct. 11.

“This event provides an excellent venue for our community to come together in support of this new high school that will benefit our area in many ways,” says Camille Emig-Hill, chairman of the board of the Bob Emig Foundation.
