Uptown Collinsville plans concert series on Wednesdays in September

COLLINSVILLE – Uptown Collinsville is offering a free outdoor concert series at the historic Blum House. The four-week lineup of Wednesday evening concerts, Sept. 2 to 23, will feature some of Metro East’s most popular performers. Music begins at 7 p.m.

The series debuts on Sept. 2 with a performance by Three Pedros. a group that performs classic and modern rock acoustic music.

Quarter Draw Band will take the stage on September 9th. Based in Edwardsville, Quarter Draw Band consists of four Southern Illinois musicians featuring dual guitars and blues harp.

On Sept. 16, Jeni & Dave of That 80s Band will treat the audience to 1980s pop/rock/new-wave tunes.

A St. Louis music duo, madBeats, will wrap up the series on Sept. 23. It plays a variety of pop, dance and alternative music.

Tunes at Blum will be held outdoors on the lawn of the historic Blum House, adjacent to the Collinsville Memorial Public Library. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Visitors are welcome to bring their own picnic supper, baskets or coolers. Free parking is available at the library.

Tunes at Blum is funded by the Bank of Edwardsville.
