Miklasz starts job with 101ESPN starting Monday

ST. LOUIS – Longtime St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist Bernie Miklasz starts a new career with a return to radio on Monday.

miklaszMiklasz starts in his role with 101ESPN with a revival of The Bernie Miklasz Show, weekday mornings from 7 to 10 a.m.

He’ll be broadcasting and writing for 101ESPN and 101sports.com . He recently left the Post after a 25-year career.

“I’ve always loved sports writing, and I’ve always loved doing sports radio. What I didn’t like was having to choose between them. This is why I’m so thrilled to join 101ESPN,” Miklasz said. “I’ve found an ideal fit with Hubbard Radio and 101ESPN. I’m honored to have this opportunity and can’t wait to get started.”

The Bernie Miklasz Show will air weekdays, followed by The Kevin Wheeler Show from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., The Turn from 1 to 3 p.m., and The Fast Lane from 3 to 7 p.m.. Mike and Mike will now air from 5 to 7 a.m.
