ST. LOUIS – Downtown St. Louis business revitalization continues with the entry of Industrious, an 11,000-square-foot office community with private offices and “comfortable communal spaces” at 555 Washington Ave.
The Chicago-based brand opened in 2013 and has started its national expansion with office spaces in St. Louis, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Brooklyn and more locations underway in Columbus, Raleigh, Nashville, Minneapolis, Denver and Detroit.
The brand is described as “far from the business incubator.” Industrious offers frosted glass walls, wood floors and onsite café. The model is designed to inspire creativity, productivity and collaboration, while giving members the privacy they need to get work done.
The St. Louis space boasts an eclectic mix of members ranging from lawyers to fashion designers, financial firms to tech companies. Members personalize their own space, so finding a disco ball, leather chesterfield or dart board is not uncommon.
Industrious offers ready-made luxury spaces, flexible month-to-month leases and room to grow — as much as 20,000 more square feet are projected.
Industrious amenities include: full access to the space 24 hours a day, seven days a week; a complementary cafe that serves Blue Print coffee and craft beer from 4 Hands Brewery; fresh pastries daily; weekly beer and popcorn happy hours and a monthly Bloody Mary bar; use of the communal lounge to conduct meetings; access to season Cardinals box seats; and open access to all other Industrious offices across the country.
