Couple purchase auto body shop

    Mike and Cindy Beshears have purchased Steve’s Auto Body, Inc. in O’Fallon, Ill., from Steve Maher.  
    Mike is a 20-year employee of Steve’s Auto Body and has been in the collision repair industry for more than 38 years. Steve’s Auto Body has served Scott Air Force Base and the Metro East since 1974.

Fultz takes over as sustainability coordinator

    EDWARDSVILLE – Emily Fultz, formerly director of Economic Development, Planning & Zoning for the city of Belleville, has been selected by Madison County officials to fill the sustainability coordinator position in the Planning & Development department. She fills the position vacated when Leah Dettmers was promoted to become the Madison County economic development specialist.
    In her new role, Fultz will manage the county’s sustainability plan. She will also be involved in the county’s solid waste, recycling and grant writing programs, and will oversee departmental communications. Fultz will work under the supervision of Planning & Development Administrator Matt Brandmeyer.
    Fultz received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in geography from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Two urologists added to area medical staff

    ALTON — Alton Memorial Hospital has welcomed two urologists to the medical staff.  Dr. Christopher Vulin and Dr. Brad White both have advanced training in minimally invasive urology, robotic kidney and prostate surgery, laparoscopic surgery, urologic oncology, kidney stone disease and general urology.
    Vulin completed medical residency at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.  White completed his residency at Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals.  
    Both are members of Urology Consultants LTD  and are accepting patients at their office in Suite 204 in Medical Office Building A on the campus of Alton Memorial Hospital.  To schedule an appointment, call (618) 288-0900.

Gansauer promoted at Holland Construction

    SWANSEA – Holland Construction Services has announced the promotion of Paul Gansauer to director of Preconstruction Services.
    Gansauer has more than 14 years of experience in the construction industry. He joined Holland in 2007 as a project engineer and was elevated to project manager in 2010. In 2012, he was promoted to estimator and just three months ago promoted to senior estimator.
