Beall Mansion in Alton receives dual travel honors

ALTON – The Beall Mansion, a bed and breakfast inn, has received a 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, which honors top-rated accommodation businesses, restaurants and attractions, as reviewed by travelers on the world’s largest travel site.
To qualify, a business must earn and maintain an average rating of four stars or higher out of a possible five stars on TripAdvisor. The accolade is extended to qualifying travel related businesses worldwide.
The property was further honored with a TripAdvisor “Hall of Fame” Certificate. This was provided to businesses that have earned the Certificate of Excellence every year for all five years it has been given.

The mansion was opened to the public as a bed and breakfast inn by the Belotes in 1998.
Each guestroom features include a triple sheeted feather bed; private bathroom with Italian marble floor, shower and whirlpool for two or claw-foot tub; HDTV, DVD, free Wi-Fi, hardwood floors, and hand sewn oriental rugs. King bed guest rooms also have a fireplace with carved mantle and gas logs.
