25th annual Jobs Plus fair planned for September

Employers in the St. Louis Metropolitan area are being invited to participate in Jobs Plus ’15, a job fair to be held Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville.

The 25th annual event will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. and registration is free.The event is coordinated by Madison County Employment and Training Department.

Among sponsoring agencies are: AARP Foundation/SCSEP, Illinois Department of Employment Security, Illinois Department of Human Services, Southwestern Illinois WorkNet Centers, Lewis & Clark Community College, Madison-Bond Workforce Investment Board, Madison County Employment & Training Department, Mid America Workforce Investment Board, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Southwestern Illinois College and St. Clair County Intergovernmental Grants Department, Employment & Training Division.
