“Senior Services Plus is currently in the midst of a $3.5 Million Capital Campaign to expand our Wellness Center. The new Wellness Center is projected at 16,050 square feet with an indoor gym area, an additional exercise classroom, additional cardio and weight equipment, one 8×16 endless wave pool for low impact exercise, a natatorium with a 20×40 warm water exercise pool, and an indoor walking track.
However; all amenities are dependent upon community support. Currently there is no other not-for-profit facility providing wellness within an 18 mile radius of our facility and currently there are 53,000 seniors aged 60+ and in 15 years there are projected to be 79,000 seniors aged 60+ in our community. This facility will help people age independently and help keep healthcare costs down. Therefore, transforming our Wellness Center into a state-of-the-art fitness facility is one of our most important initiatives over the next couple years.
It will be the only one of its kind in the tri-state region and will set new standards of excellence across the country. We need the support of the community to make this dream come true.
