“Memorial Hospital East, a 94-bed, $124 million hospital in Shiloh, Illinois will open in April 2016. Memorial East will have all private patient suites, an emergency department, diagnostic services including imaging and cardiac catheterization, and intensive care unit. The hospital also will feature a Family Care Birthing Center as well as inpatient and outpatient surgical services.
The completion of Memorial Hospital East in 2016 will pave the way to create 216 all private patient suites at Memorial’s Belleville campus. Our patients expect more privacy and research has shown that private rooms make people happier and healthier which promote the healing process.
