Certified Physician Assistant joins McKinley Health Center

GRANITE CITY – Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation has added Elizabeth Ewig, a Certified Physician Assistant, to its family medicine team at McKinley Health Center, 2166 Madison Ave., in Granite City.
Ewig manages care for patients of all ages with a focus on preventative health, the treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and women’s health.
“I empathize with all patients I see,” said Ewig (left). “By understanding their concerns, I can tailor care to their individual needs and work on personalized plans that help them succeed in achieving their health-care goals.”
Ewig received her master of medical science from Saint Louis University and her bachelor of science in biology and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin. She is certified by the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and is proficient in Spanish, offering an extra level of service to the patients.
